Meet the Doctor!
I’m Dr. Deva Watson, chiropractor and founder of Aligned Chiropractic & Wellness. My passion is helping people in my community discover the power of natural healing and live healthier, pain-free lives.
I began my journey at Jackson High School as an athletic training aide for the JHS football team. That journey continued at Albany State University, where I built the foundation for my career in health and wellness. I later earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, a place that not only refined my clinical skills but also gave me the opportunity to join the chiropractic sorority Alpha Delta Upsilon. Through this sisterhood, I gained lifelong connections, leadership experience, and a deeper commitment to serving others.
Today, I specialize in extremity adjusting and caring for athletes, but I welcome people from all walks of life. My goal is to create a safe, faith-filled space where patients feel heard, cared for, and treated like family. I truly believe the body is designed to heal itself once interference is removed, and it’s my mission to help you unlock that potential.

Do Adjustments Hurt?
No, a chiropractic adjustment is not painful at all. It actually relieves a lot of pain stored up in the body with specific techniques and adjustments.
Will I continue to need adjustments for the rest of my life after I get my first one?
Think of chiropractic care the same way you do a dentist or a mechanic. You want to maintain the health of your teeth and your car throughout the year, correct? This is the same concept with your nervous system. You must maintain your spinal health so that you can remain at optimal health all year long!
Do I have to get “cracked?”
The correct term is an “adjustment.” The “popping” sound you hear is gasses being released from the joints in between the bones in your body. “Cracking” would indicate that your bones are breaking and I can assure you that during your adjustment, you will not experience such a thing.
